Volunteer to join a serving team today!

Why should I volunteer?

Volunteering to serve in your church is a powerful way to grow in your faith, use your God-given gifts, and make a real difference in the lives of others. We are called to use our gifts to further the kingdom of God. When you serve, you help create a welcoming, Christ-centered community and reflect the love of God. Plus, it’s a great way to build meaningful relationships and discover the joy that comes from giving back.

What teams can I serve on?

We have thirteen serving teams you can be a part of:

Greeters Team

This team welcomes everyone as they enter the sanctuary by offering a warm greeting, a handshake, and a weekly bulletin. Research shows that the first four to ten minutes of human interaction are critical in forming connections—what a meaningful opportunity for our greeters to turn strangers into friends!

Welcome Team

This team helps create a positive first impression by greeting families, checking in children, and offering welcome gifts to new visitors. Volunteers ensure that every family's experience begins in a warm, friendly, and safe way.

Usher Team*

Ushers play a vital role in our services by assisting with seating, supporting those with special needs, and collecting the offering. They help ensure that everything runs smoothly, using both attentiveness and adaptability.

Worship Team*

This team leads the congregation in worship during our Sunday morning services. Musicians and vocalists work together to help lift hearts and voices in praise.

Tech Team

As part of the Worship Team, the Tech Team manages sound and visuals.

  • Sound Team: Oversees volume and sound quality for speakers, singers, and musicians.

  • Computer/AV Team: Manages slides, announcements, sermon notes, and livestream camera angles.

Security Team*

This team monitors our facilities and cameras during services to help ensure the safety of everyone on campus.

Teen Ministry Team*

Supporting students in grades 6–12, this team builds relationships, leads Sunday School, and helps with Wednesday night gatherings. Volunteers create a space where teens feel valued and connected to Christ.

Kids Ministry Team*

This team helps children (ages 4 through 5th grade) learn about God's love in a fun, engaging, and safe environment—during Sunday service and Wednesday nights.

Nursery Team*

Caring for our youngest attendees (birth through age 3), this team provides a loving and secure environment during Sunday School, worship service, and Wednesday night Bible study.

Mowing Team

Working in pairs on a five-week rotation, this team maintains our church lawn, keeping the grounds clean and inviting for guests.

Dinner Team

This team prepares meals for special church events, such as our chili cook-off or Mother's Day breakfast, making sure there’s always enough food for everyone.

Decorating Team

This creative team helps make the church look beautiful for holidays, events, and seasonal celebrations—whether it’s Easter Sunday or our 4th of July picnic.

Pastor Appreciation Team

This team shows love and gratitude to our pastors and their families by organizing meals, treats, and special celebrations throughout the year—especially during Pastor Appreciation Month in October.

*Some teams require church membership and/or a background check.
