The Ponca City Free Will Baptist Church was established and sponsored by the Oklahoma Free Will Baptist missions program, under the leadership of Pastor David Bigger.  On July 11, 1976 the church held its first service in the High School Fine Arts Building.  The new church met there for 13 months until the property was purchased and the first phase of the new church building was completed.  The first service in the present building was held on August 21, 1977.

 

In 1995, the much needed 9,000 sq. ft. second phase addition of the building was completed.  Our 2008 phase of our building program was to update and enlarge our worship sanctuary.  

 

In 2012 Pastor David Bigger retired after 35 years of faithful leadership and service.  In February of 2012, the church called Adam Phillips to Pastor and lead the church.

  

We have seen lives changed, sin broken, hearts mended, passions ignited, and faith renewed.  We celebrate all that God has done and we praise Him for His faithfulness.  We believe the future of the Ponca City Free Will Baptist Church looks bright, and invite you to come and grow with us.
