Men's Ministry:

There has become a vacuum in the Kingdom of God and in our World where men have not taken their place. Study after study has shown the horrible results of apathy of men and the absence of men. We see the evidence in the epidemic of: fatherless families in our nation, an absence of men involved in churches across the board, and men consumed with apathy. Something has become broken and its time we fix it. We desire to be the solution. We desire to stand up and take the lead in overcoming these problems. We want to be on the front lines of this war. We don’t want to fall into the mindset of being an Al Bundy or Homer Simpson type of men that society expects us to be. Instead, we will become the leaders that God has created us to be. We will not be satisfied with apathy and absence. We are mighty warriors. We are Men of God.

Mission:

To become Men of God who hold each other accountable to be leaders and servants in the Kingdom and in our homes.

We plan to accomplish this mission by targeting three main areas in our lives: discipleship, accountability, and service. These three things are not always easy or comfortable, but we see them as necessary if we are to accomplish our mission in the short time we have here on Earth.

Discipleship: We take part in discipleship because Christ has commanded we do it. Because of this we will commit ourselves to learning and teaching how to follow Christ and be Godly husbands, fathers, and grandfathers. True discipleship is not something that happens in a classroom, but it is a way of life as displayed by Christ. We are equipped so that we can equip others.

Accountability: This is an important thing to posses if we are going to set out on this mission. We are bombarded each day with temptations. Accountability helps us stay strong against those. There have been countless men fall to the wayside because they had no accountability.

Serving: Just as Christ did not come to be served, but to serve. So we will strive to become servants in our homes, workplaces, church, and throughout the world.
